Interests

My research areas are primarily in computer graphics and simulation.  I have published primarily in the area of crowd simulation which is an interdisciplinary field between graphics, simulation, and artificial intelligence though the main thrust of my published work was the inclusion of machine learning into the mix.  Recently I have been working on the vectorization of raster graphics and starting to branch out into other applications of simulation and high performance computing.
